GrowthEd Takes Financial Literacy to the Grand Stage: Collaborates with AKS Foundation for She Gullak at Grandma Pageant Season 4

Jaipur | 20 May 2026

India’s first life skill education platform for children, GrowthEd, made a powerful impact at one of Jaipur’s most celebrated cultural gatherings this season through a landmark collaboration with AKS Foundation for She Gullak, the central concept of Grandma Pageant Season 4, held at the Constitutional Club, New Vidhan Sabha, Jaipur.

The evening brought together over 25 reputed school principals, distinguished industry leaders, women entrepreneurs and three generations of women under one roof to champion a cause that has become more urgent than ever — raising financially fearless daughters.

Founded on the belief that financial literacy is not merely a subject but a life skill, She Gullak was conceptualised by GrowthEd Co-Founders Rishabh Mathur and Ananya Gupta. The initiative used the symbolic power of the traditional gullak to ask one compelling question: What if the greatest gift parents could give their daughters was financial fearlessness?

The programme commenced with a grand opening by anchor Aplav, followed by an elegant Kathak performance on Ganesh Vandana by Pallav Khurana, winner of Rajasthan Ke Sur Taaj Nritye 2025 and the national reality show Kisme Kitna Hai Dum 2026. The ceremonial lamp lighting was led by AKS Foundation Director Anita Mathur and GrowthEd Co-Founder Ananya Gupta.

The evening was graced by Chief Guest Neeta Boochra, Founder Chairperson of FICCI FLO Jaipur and Independent Director of HLL Lifecare Ltd., appointed by the Government of India. Addressing the audience on “Empowering Tomorrow’s Matriarchs: Integrating Financial Literacy into India’s School Ecosystem,” Ms. Boochra highlighted the urgent need to make financial education a foundational part of India’s schooling system.

One of the evening’s most impactful moments was GrowthEd’s original theatrical performance created exclusively for She Gullak. Through emotionally powerful narratives, the skit portrayed the real consequences of financial illiteracy faced by women across generations — from financial dependence and lack of investment awareness to poor credit understanding and digital fraud vulnerability. The performance concluded with a hopeful vision of a financially empowered young girl whose confidence stemmed from the early financial education given to her by her mother through GrowthEd.

The Heritage Rampwalk segment celebrated grandmothers and their timeless financial wisdom, as participants shared stories of budgeting, saving in gullaks and managing households long before financial literacy became a mainstream conversation.

GrowthEd Co-Founder Ananya Gupta also moderated a thought-provoking panel discussion featuring:

  • Dr. Pooja Chitlanga
  • Jyotsna Chauhan
  • Karan Vig
  • Pawandeep Kaur Bindra
  • Shruti Upadhyay

The panel explored women’s financial empowerment through the lenses of education, healthcare, banking, behavioural science and entrepreneurship.

In a special recognition segment, GrowthEd and AKS Foundation jointly felicitated principals from leading Jaipur institutions with the Matriarchal Awards for their contribution towards building future-ready students and progressive learning environments.

The evening also honoured the participating grandmothers through the Grandma Pageant Awards. The recognition process was guided by a distinguished jury comprising:

  • Shweta Mehta Modi
  • Nishtha
  • Kayanat
  • Nirmala Rawat

The initiative received support from several esteemed partners including Dr. Neeraj Aggarwal, Harish, Yash Jain, Radhika, Bhavesh, Shubham Sharma and Khushbu.

Speaking about the initiative, the GrowthEd team shared that She Gullak was more than an event — it was proof that financial literacy becomes far more impactful when taught through stories, conversations and lived experiences rather than textbooks alone.

Founded by Rishabh Mathur and Ananya Gupta, GrowthEd is a pioneering life skill education platform teaching children from Grade 1 to Grade 12 essential real-world skills through animated stories, interactive games and curriculum-aligned learning experiences. The platform’s flagship financial literacy programme is currently trusted by over 100 schools across India and aligns with NEP 2020 and CBSE Circular No. ACAD-39/2023 on life skill education.
